The right length depends on your turban style and how you tie it. Fuller styles such as Patiala Shahi and Dumalla take more fabric than a compact daily pagri.
Hand wash your turban for the first 3 to 4 washes to protect its colour and finish. After that, you can machine wash it on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid harsh detergents.
